  • Types of experiences that leave a mark
  • Trauma if happened unexpectedly, unprepared for it, felt powerless to prevent it, someone intentionally cruel
  • Overthinking kills

  • Improving ownself
  • Make bold decisions
  • Build your confidence, by loving yourself first
  • Too fixated about what others says about us
  • Dont ask why it’s happening to me (only me) BUT a new understanding of why things happened in the past
  • If not because of what happened, what blessings you have/receiving, wont have happened
  • I had to be patient when times were hard
  • Be thankful Allah chooses you
  • What is God trying to teach me? How can I grow from this experience?
  • Change your questions, change your life
  • Some people express their positive feelings in a negative way (not expressive, differently)
  • Speak up, although there are things that you treasure and might affect the whole situation
  • Its never too late
  • Dont always talk about the same issue; to forget
  • We are all we are today, because we are destined
  • Shouldnt self hate; not evrything is by your act
  • Dont keep scratching your wound, let it close up

  • Allahumma rahmataka arju fala takilni ila nafsi thorfata 'aynin wa aslih li sha'ni kullahu la ilaha ila anta (اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو فَلا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ ، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أنْتَ) (“O Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for the blinking of an eye (i.e. a moment). Correct all of my affairs for me. There is none worthy of worship but You.”)
  • La ilaaha ill-Allaah al-‘Azeem ul-Haleem, Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah Rabb il-‘arsh il-‘azeem, Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah Rabb is-samawaati wa Rabb il-ard wa Rabb il-‘arsh il-kareem. (لا إلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ الْعَظـيمُ الْحَلِـيمْ، لا إلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّالعَـرْشِ العَظِيـمِ، لا إلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّالسَّمَـوّاتِ ورّبُّ الأَرْضِ ورَبُّ العَرْشِ الكَـريم) (“There is no god except Allaah, the All-Mighty, the Forbearing; there is no god except Allaah, the Lord of the Mighty Throne; there is no god except Allaah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth and Lord of the noble Throne.”)
  • “Yaa Hayyu yaa Qayyoom, bi Rahmatika astagheeth (O Ever-Living One, O Everlasting One, by Your Mercy I seek help).”
  • Yaa Qowiyyu, Yaa Mateen (O Strong One, O Firm One)
  • Ask to be granted the strength to change the things that need changing, the courage to accept things that cannot be changed, and the wisdom to know the difference.
