• Every hardships are all tests.
    • 1. It’s from your own doings in the past that the problems happen.
  • Our life will change, the moment we accept to overcome the problems. Accept the challenges.
  • Take part of the blame - case by case basis (not everything is your fault)
  • Heed someone elses’ warning, be more cautious.
    • 2. An act of God (rare situation if it’s for nothing).
    • 3. Other people’s actions: the greatest blessing we felt that is happening to us could have been the test for us (e.g. marriage: will go through divorce, etc)
  • Great rewards come with great trials.
  • Redha - Allah’s pleasure (please him).
  • Do not show discontent, it will cause His wrath.
  • During hard times, remember that Allah remembers and loves you.
  • Weep when they (prophets and their companions) don’t fall sick for soo long.
  • Be patient and have trust, it’s for our own good.
  • RadhiAllahu'anhu (Allah is pleased with him).
  • To remove all our past sins.
  • Pay the price for our past wrong doings (if any).

  • If it’s a test: we will be rewarded immensely for the patience.
  • If it’s an atonement or cleansing: it’s to “lighten” us from our sins.
  • If it’s a punishment: for us to be excused from the greater punishment in Akhirat. (Its worth it!)

  • His unwavering love for you.
  • Everything for you, to make you a better person. Comes back stronger!
  • Allah wants you to continue making dua, call upon him.
  • I am loved. (Now you feel it, Allah loves you). Whatever things that is done or not by Him.
  • As a warning, a wake-up call. Signs to change ways. Begin with a single step gradually but immediately.
  • Rich doesn’t mean blessed, poor doesn’t mean cursed.
  • Too long of a poverty can lead to walking away from God.

  • Welcome hardships, they are blessings.
  • He wishes to purify you.
  • Opportunity to come closer to Him.
  • Earn more rewards.
  • Keep your faith stronger than previously.

  • When problems keeps recurring: have not passed from the previous test. To be more tolerant, have more patience, learn from the tests. Ask yourself what has changed you. Changes starts from you. Not others.
  • How does one know when redha becomes pasrah?: Continue to care and fix things or yourself (but accepts what Allah gives you as a closure) and don’t give up.
  • When a non believer (less believing) starts believing, expect hurdles to come. To test your sincerity. (Especially people judging you by your past, to hinder you from your decision to change): the turn of hearts. After you made sudden change, different type of social media postings. (To test how long will you last? How strong are you? How serious are you about your change?) Don’t quit, remember your reason and purpose for the change.
  • You can’t keep your faith high all the time. But those moments you are at your lowest, it will help you to be better in future (more patience, more endurance, become a more better person than you already are). Take a break, cry or rant if you have to (diary, online, etc). Never feel like you’re a hypocrite, we are human, we fall and get demoralized, felt abandoned.
  • Please Allah and you get everything that you wish for that is good for you.
  •  “إِنَّا هَدَيْنَاهُ السَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا” “Surely We have shown him the way: he may be thankful or unthankful.” [76:4]
  • Our duty to advise one another on truth and patience. Remind and be there for them (whom are facing difficulties). A simple “I believe in you” means alot to them.
  • Quit on something is redha (if have given the problem chances and time) but shouldn’t be the first solution to all your problems, that is pasrah.
  • Istikharah. If you’ve been doing it, do more.
  • Never underestimate the power of dzikir. It cleanses your heart, washes away your sins.
  • La Takhaf Wa La Tahzan. Innallaha Ma'ana. (Don’t be afraid and don’t be sad. Allah is with us’.
  • If problems come one after another, again and again, it’s just another test.

You won’t be tested more than what you can handle. He created you, He knows your limit.
