YOU ARE LOVED

  • WHEN YOU KNOW YOU ARE LOVED
  • Put you at ease.
  • No longer have to impress?
  • Don't have to be someone you're not; be yourself.
  • Comfortable and secure.

  • WHEN YOU THINK YOU ARE LOVED OR NEED TO BE LOVED
  • Mind never at peace.
  • Can never say you are truly happy.
  • Work hard to impress.
  • Have to pretend?
  • Know that you'll have to do more to win trust/love fully/completely

  • EVERYONE HAS A SOMEBODY EXCEPT ME
  • Battling loneliness (See Overcoming Loneliness; http://www.mohammadazry.com/overcomeloneliness/)
  • Feeling unappreciated and unaccepted.
  • Dealing with other people's happiness without some of our own.
  • Never good enough for anyone: parents, friends, partners, etc.
  • Your friends appreciate others more and felt treated unfairly.

  • Thought we were loved until we found out we were used, fooled, the fact they loved somebody else.
  • The love was genuine, until somewhere along the way something happened.
  • Somewhere, someone loves you.
  • One of the partner sacrifices and the other betrayed.
  • Fight your own battles, do not compare severity of each other's problems.
  • Remember, some of us don't even know who their parents/siblings are or felt the love: adopted, jailed or rehab, never really there for them.
  • The feeling of being unloved is ultimately the results of an unresolved conflict we have within ourselves.

  • 1. YOU WERE CREATED ON PURPOSE
  • You're never a mistake (eg, parents expecting a son instead of a daughter; you)
  • 2. YOUR MISTAKE(S) DON'T DEFINE YOU
  • You'll get labelled for what you did.
  • 3. SOMEBODY OUT THERE LOVES YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE
  • Low self esteem and self confidence.
  • 4. NOTHING IS UNFORGIVABLE
  • Would God accept me?
  • Everyone, somewhere in their life, did something wrong before.
  • (39:53-58) "O My slaves who have been prodigal to their own hurt! Despair not of the mercy of Allah, Who forgives all sins. Lo! He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. (53) Turn unto your Lord repentant, and surrender unto Him, before there come unto you the doom, when ye cannot be helped. (54) And follow the better (guidance) of that which is revealed unto you from your Lord, before the doom cometh on you suddenly when ye know not, (55) Lest any soul should say: Alas, my grief that I was unmindful of Allah, and I was indeed among the scoffers! (56) Or should say: If Allah had but guided me I should have been among the dutiful! (57) Or should say, when it sees the doom: Oh, that I had but a second chance that I might be among the righteous! (58)"
  • You are loved by The Forgiver.
  • People will look at your crumples, negatives but God will look at your worth.
  • 5. RECOGNISE YOUR TRUE VALUE
  • Not by the 3 Ps: Performance, Possessions, Popularity
  • Performance: how well you need to do (job/relationship)
  • Possessions: materialistic, branding (by what you have)
  • Popularity: more followers/influences deserve more respect.
  • 6. NEVER ATTACH ATTACH YOUR VALUE TO OTHER PEOPLE
  • People are funny and unpredictable: Someone who compliments, praises, supports you can be someone who will criticise, demoralise, compares you to other people in future
  • 7. GOD ALWAYS LOVES YOU
  • (3:148) "So Allah gave them the reward of the world and the good reward of the Hereafter. Allah love those whose deeds are good."
  • (9:108) "Never stand (to pray) there. A place of worship which was founded on piety from the first day is more worthy that thou should stand (to pray) therein, wherein are men who love to purify themselves. Allah love the purifiers."
  • (2:222) "They question thee (O Muhammad) concerning menstruation. Say: It is an illness, so let women alone at such times and go not in unto them till they are cleansed. And when they have purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allah hath enjoined upon you. Truly Allah love those who turn unto Him, and love those who have a care for cleanness."
  • (49:9) "And if two parties of believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them. And if one party of them do wrong to the other, fight ye that which do wrong till it return unto the ordinance of Allah; then, if it return, make peace between them justly, and act equitably. Lo! Allah love the equitable."
  • (9:7) "How can there be a treaty with Allah and with His messenger for the idolaters save those with whom ye made a treaty at the Inviolable Place of Worship? So long as they are true to you, be true to them. Lo! Allah love those who keep their duty."
  • (3:146) "And with how many a prophet have there been a number of devoted men who fought (beside him). They quailed not for aught that befell them in the way of Allah, nor did they weaken, nor were they brought low. Allah love the steadfast."
  • (3:159) "It was by the mercy of Allah that thou wast lenient with them (O Muhammad), for if thou hadst been stern and fierce of heart they would have dispersed from round about thee. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult with them upon the conduct of affairs. And when thou art resolved, then put thy trust in Allah. Lo! Allah love those who put their trust (in Him)."

Be a mercy to others
